Polaroid Eyewear in Cult Eyewear BookI’ve been working with Neil Handley; the Curator of the British Optical Association Museum at the College of Optometrists, on a book he’s written titled Cult Eyewear: The World’s Enduring Classics. It’s the first book to give an account of the world’s top eyewear brands, from the 1780s to the present day. And naturally Polaroid Eyewear is featured as one of the leading brands.

The book discusses many of the sunglasses styles and labels available over the decades. It shows that throughout the decades, choosing a pair of sunglasses is as much about making a fashion statement as gaining perfect vision.

Stevie took a couple of pairs away with him so keep your eyes peeled when he’s next photographed in the press to see if he’s wearing them. And you’ll be able to buy a pair soon as they launch online next month.
