Cycling

Sleek from Pearl Izumi

We’re having a heatwave! And it’s not often we get to say that here in the UK. No doubt it will be over all too soon. But while the sun is out, there’s time to put on your cycling sunglasses, strap on your helmet and go for a ride. And, even when the weather gets cloudy again, don’t forget that your sunglasses do more than make your eyes more comfortable, they protect against harmful UV light. But, before you jump on that bike, you’ll want to have a look at the best cycling shorts.

Short and bold – The RPM short from Sugoi is just that. Short. It’s also made out of breathable, wind-resistant P3 fabric. The inseam is only 8.5 inches, but there’s chamois padding to make things a bit more comfortable. Head to your nearest Cycle Surgery if you want to try before you buy.

But whatever you plan,  for safety’s sake don’t forget your helmet and, of course, a pair of our cycling sunglasses. You’ll be that much better off if you can see both the road and the cars around you.
