No harmful glare affecting their vision.

Raphael Domjan, Founder and Co-Skipper of PlanetSolar said “Since we left Monaco last year, our Polaroid sunglasses have proved an indispensable part of our kit. When you’re sailing, the glare reflected off the boat and the water is really strong and can seriously affect your vision. But with our Polaroid sunglasses, that glare is eliminated and the ergonomic styling means they fit comfortably all day and stay on whatever the conditions.”

A great Panama hat from Toast

The nautical look is a favourite with sailors and landlubbers alike. And why not? It’s neat, easy to wear and includes blazers and rain slickers for those moments or even weeks when the British weather turns less than delightful. But even when the sun is hidden from view, Polaroid Sunglasses will give you the UV protection you need in classic styles that are perfect for a day on the waves. So why not sit down with a cup of tea, ignore the weather and let Polaroid introduce you to the best nautical looks this season.

The perfect white blazer- Just head to Topshop for a great and affordable option in the coolest linen. It’s simple, modern and will make a pair of jeans and a striped tee shirt really look the business. In fact, this top from Marks & Spencer has flattering ¾ length sleeves you just can’t go wrong with. It’s also just the thing for this season’s wonderful 40s inspired shorts.

A red bag –Visit Radley and have a look at some of their new styles. The longer strap of the Grosvenor bag is both practical and elegant. It’s a shape you can easily pair with a blazer. Or, if you’d like something a little bigger visit John Lewis and check out the red shopper from Furla. Either will be the perfect finish to a great outfit

A good hat – Toast has the best on the bunch with a simple Panama hat that’s as practical as it is chic.

And what will you be wearing to get in touch with your nautical side?
