So on Tuesday night, we’ll be rubbing shoulders with the exceptionally talented musical artists who have been nominated for these highly coveted Awards.

For women, Polaroid Wave sunglasses are true statement frames, with large teardrop lenses for a dramatic look. Polaroid Image sunglasses are a real male celebrity favourite. With big frames and graduated lenses, they’re bang on-trend today. And, from every sale from our Best under the sun collection, Polaroid will be make a donation to international charity Sightsavers, helping fund their work to eliminate avoidable blindness in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Polaroid Eyewear loves all things retro. From our Best under the sun collection, to truly great music. And Steve, Den, Jamie and Chris, from the 1960 tribute band, The Overtures, are great musicians. So it was fantastic to see the band wearing stylish Polaroid sunglasses at a recent concert.
The Overtures have an international following, having played sell-out shows in Las Vegas and appearing on television shows with Lionel Richie. They have performed for Sir Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Diane Krall and former The Who singer, Kenney Jones. They also star in the annual Liverpool Beatles Convention, plus many other events that are too confidential to mention!

One highlight was when Sir Elton John invited them to entertain at his party to celebrate Lulu’s 60th Birthday. Elton John said at the time to GQ Magazine, “This band is amazing! They’re just the best band of their kind in the world.” You can’t get a better recommendation that that.
Following the event, Elton asked the band to support him at his New Year’s Eve show at The O2 Arena inLondon, along with Will Young and Alexandra Burke from the X-Factor.

Made in Chelsea is E4’s structured reality series following the elite set of the Kings Road socialites. Rosie Fortescue is part of the ‘fashion pack’ in the show, having spent her teenage years as a student at Downe House Boarding School where alumni include Kate Middleton, Miranda Hart and Sophie Dahl. Rosie chose a pair of Polaroid 1940 Buddy when she joined us for the Polaroid 2012 sunglasses collection launch last week.
And what a great choice they were. The rock-a-billy influenced frames are the perfect shape for Rosie’s petite features. As Rosie tweeted, “I love them! Absolutely adore them and wearing them now!”
