Alex Reid wears Polaroid Rider sunglassesAs Alex Reid and his fiancée Chantelle Houghton announce this week that they’re going to be parents to a baby girl, Polaroid Eyewear would like to say congratulations! We’re big fans of Alex, and it was great to see him selecting a pair of Polaroid 1960 Rider when he joined us for our sunglasses collection launch last week. They look very stylish on him.

Polaroid 1960 Rider is a new pair of sunglasses from our 2012 Best under the sun heritage collection. Taking the driving force of design from the ‘60s and teaming it with modern robust materials, Rider is quickly becoming a popular frame.

Polaroid sunglasses, Hermes and Bvlgari in MoscowPolaroid sunglasses are available at many Duty Free shops across the world, so we’re delighted to feature in the new Terminal A store at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow. Specially selected by the airport, Polaroid is amongst a selection of other premium accessories including perfumes, cosmetics, confectionary, luggage and travel items.

With other top brands such as P&G, Coty, L’Oréal Luxe, Hermès and Bvlgari showcasing their accessories, it’s fantastic to be in such great company for quality and style.

Already the airport is thriving as more international flights are using the new Terminal A, so it’s an exciting time for us.

Footballers set the bar when it comes to style. So when we spotted international football player, Carlton Cole, wearing his Polaroid sunglasses at a comedy gig in London, we couldn’t resist taking a snap.

Carlton started his career at Chelsea and is now a striker for West Ham United. He also plays internationally for England, so it was great to see him taking a night off and supporting up and coming British comedian, Kojo, from the audience at the sell-out Live N Kicking show at Hackney Empire.
