The Polaroid blog
This blog is here for you. Use it to tell us what you think about our sunglasses. Or, if you have questions about polarization and the dangers of UV light, feel free to ask us. We’ll find an answer. Polaroid has been making and selling great sunglasses since 1937, and we’re passionate about sunglasses – and reaching our customers. Our business is a two way street, and we’d like to know what’s on your mind when it comes to all kinds of sunglasses.
My name is Laura, and I’ll be working with Polaroid to make the most of this blog. To be honest, I’m looking forward to it. Let’s hope the conversation is a good one.

On Saturday 6th March I wore my new Polaroid sunglasses for the first time. I was racing my Solo dinghy in Salcombe estuary in bright but low sunshine. I was really pleased with the clarity and the protection they gave me. The fit is also great, especially as the last pair were lost over the side following a capsize – I am confident that these would stay on my head although I am taking no chances this time as I have them strapped on. Also used them in the car today – very please with them.
Got a pair of Polaroid half jacket glasses for golf. I’ve tried many other makes, but these are by far the best. Great for golf but even better for driving in. Another pair is on the agenda. Wish I’d have tried Polaroids before and saved my money on other brands. Look great and do a fantastic job.

In February, I bought my first pair of Polaroid glasses in preparation for doing this years Virgin London Marathon 2010. (After being recommended them by my training pal) All I can say is thank you for producing such fantastic quality glasses at such a good price! On the big day, the weather was very changeable at the start it was very dull and rainy then it was very cloudy and bright and then lots of sunshine!! The whole time I wore my glasses, they really helped me a lot to focus on my run! Not once did I feel my glasses slip or move unlike other brands. The grip was amazing. I always thought my head was too round for sunglasses to stay on firmly. Also, I felt my eyes were protected at all times and nothing strayed into my eyes. At the end of the Marathon when I took my glasses off I was amazed that i didn’t have any red marks on my nose either.
I am now looking forward to using them when I do the London to Brighton bike ride later this month.
Thank you Polaroid!!!
