It’s the in-between season. Autumn is just ahead, but summer feels a little distant. But that doesn’t mean you can put your sunglasses away. When the sun is lower in the sky, there’s still glare – and it’s glare that makes it uncomfortable to drive. So keep your shades to hand even when the forecast is for rain. One of the biggest trends coming our way is a move toward lady-like dressing. That doesn’t mean you need to start shopping like the late great Queen Mother. But what it does mean is that classic shapes and fabrics are making a comeback.

Here at Polaroid, we like to get to know our customers. And some of our best are carp enthusiasts. They’re out in all weather, making the most of rivers, lakes and ponds all across the country.
Still going upwind. Another challenge in this conditions is to keep the seasickness at bay. We passed the equator tonight, another land mark in this trip, and celebrated with a wee dram, but no ceremony.
We had some wind today, allowing an average of 5 knots and helping to extract ourselves from the Doldrums, not an easy task. We also had some visitors last night: a couple of birds landing on the boat for a rest.
